Mr. Rick Kerr
Mr. Kerr earned his B.S. from Kent State University, an M. Ed. from Cleveland State University, and his Lutheran Teacher certification from Concordia University in Ann Arbor, MI. He is currently in his 43rd year of education, having served as a science teacher in South Euclid (Cleveland), OH, and a teacher and principal in Niagara Falls, Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis. He has been at St John since 1989.
Mr. Kerr praises God each day for the opportunity to tell students and their families about His love for us through Jesus. In a world that sees a lot of struggles, he feels it a priority to help people see God's goodness and experience His unconditional love in a variety of ways. "We want to be sure our students experience God's grace in the forgiveness Jesus secured for us, and that they look forward to living their lives as an expression of His love."
Mr. Kerr has two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family. He is also an avid reader and always looks forward to Fantasy Football season.
