Thanks for all of the Mum orders. We had over 866 mums ordered! Thanks to the 120 students that participated. The 6th Grade won for class participation with 100% of the class turning in orders! Congrats to Eli L for selling the most with 49 mums. You can pick up your mums on Tuesday, September 5th from 12-5. You may pick your mums up in the Hunter Rd. parking lot. We could also use your help to unload these beautiful mums and hand them out. Please sign up here to help unload and/ or distribute the mums.

Plans have been drawn up to develop a nature center in the area where the teacher house was removed last year. We hope it will be a blessing to our students and our community, BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP. The project will require funds and we are seeking corporate sponsors of all sizes to help.  If you have any contact information for any of our area business that could be approached, please share that information with Mr. Willig. Please do not make that initial contact, we just need a foot in the right doors. We thank you in advance for any information you can provide. We are very excited about the many possibilities this will provide to our school, church, and community.

Our St. John Eagles Soccer Team and Volleyball teams will be back in action Tuesday. Join us as we take on Calvary at home. Games begin at 5.

Willing to give your child’s teacher a break at lunch? We are looking for Lunch Monitors for the month of September. The purpose of this is to allow the teachers to have lunch together once a month. Sign up here. We understand that many of us work during the day, or have small children still at home. Keep in mind small children are welcome to join you, and grandparents, family friends, etc. are welcome to come and participate as well.

Did you know there are many ways you can support St John School without giving up any of your time? If you are a Kroger shopper, you can link your PLUS card to St John School ID #10098 so that the school receives a percentage of your spending.

You can also purchase cards for stores/restaurants/gas stations at places where you already spend your money. Look for information about purchasing SCRIP cards to be coming home soon. A percentage of those sales will also benefit the school. Scrip is "fundraising while you shop." You can create a family account by going to Use our school code F24EF13E2223 and begin shopping through many different vendors for a variety of products. A percentage of your purchase will be given back to St. John. Questions? Contact: Paul Johnson at 317-352-9196 or .

You may sign up for a Small Group online or in the School Office that will hopefully fit your needs in regards to time, day, and location. If you have any questions regarding this ministry opportunity or on how to get involved, please contact Director of Outreach and Assimilation, Paul Johnson at 317-352-9196 or at .
