Congratulations to our Varsity Eagles on a hard fought St. James tourney. Their placement does not indicate how well they played the entire weekend. There were some games that ended with a 2-point difference. Our Eagle Cheerleaders and fans rocked the house and made some noise for the boys all weekend. Be sure to join us this Thursday for our boys’ last home game against Trinity. Reserve starts at 5 and Varsity follows at 6. Our 8th grade players will be honored in a brief ceremony after the JV game. Then our Varsity boys finish the season with a tournament at Our Shepherd this weekend. Their first game is Friday at 5 pm.
Our cheerleaders competed for individual and team honors at the Varsity Boy’s Tournament in Lafayette this past weekend. Penelope M. was selected to the all-star cheerleading squad. Congratulations, Penelope!
Our teachers enjoy having lunch together once a month and are thankful for all the volunteers that make it possible. Our next lunch monitoring date is Feb. 15th. Please sign up here to help.
St. John Spirit Night will be at Sky Zone on Feb. 15th from 4-8 pm. Prices are as follows: 60 min jump $15, 90 min jump $19, 120 min jump $22 $2/Skysocks, but can bring existing Skyzone socks if you have them. It is at the Southport Skyzone, 4150 Kildeer Dr. 46237

Join us for Sci-Fest on Tuesday, Feb. 20th at 6:30 pm. During the day 1st-8th graders will build a glider out of household materials. That evening at 6:30 pm, the students will fly their gliders in competition. The goal is to see whose glider will go the farthest and the straightest.
DINE TO DONATE
Information is available outside the office and was sent home last week about the annual Camp Invention to be hosted by Bunker Hill Elementary School from June 4-8 for Grades K-6 (9 AM – 3:30 PM daily). This week long program presents children with hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
GOD'S PROMISES ARE REAL
Everything that happens about God’s word is true including all His promises. Archaeologists are finding artifacts that prove what the Bibles says happened. At the east end of the building (by the C9 door), there are two showcases with a display depicting God’s promises. There are verses scattered around for you to find and match to the promise. Our school theme is also somewhere in those showcases to discover. Take the challenge to see how many promises you can connect.
