RE-ENROLLMENT FOR 2018-19

Re-enrollment for current students for the 2018-2019 school year begins this week. To re-enroll your child(ren), please follow click here. Complete re-enrollment form for each current student, and pay the Registration Fee (Enrollment is not complete until fee is paid), if you are not taken to the payment page after finishing the enrollment form, click here. To enroll a sibling of a current student who will be new in 2018-2019, please email Lori at so she can send you a link to the New Student Enrollment form. Do not use a re-enrollment form.

 
PRINCIPAL CALL

 

St. John has issued a call to Mr. Eric Brofford. He currently serves as Principal at Grace Chapel Lutheran School in Bellefontaine Neighbors, MO. Please keep him, his family, and Grace Chapel School in your prayers.

EAGLES BASKETBALL

Tonight, both Lady Eagles teams travel to Zion take on the Warriors. Reserve will begin play at 5 with the Varsity game starting after. Our Boys will then travel to Our Shepherd for games against the Rams on Thursday. Reserve will begin play at 5 with the Varsity game starting after. Good luck to our Reserve boys team as they travel to Trinity for a tournament this weekend. If you anyone takes pictures at any of these games, please email them to

Grades for the 2nd Marking period will be available for viewing on January 10th. Eligibility for continued participation on athletic teams will also be done on Wednesday.

CAMP LAKEVIEW ASSEMBLY

One of the favorite assemblies of the year will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 16th. The Camp Lakeview staff will be here to sing camp songs, do skits, and talk about their summer camp ministry programs. Flyers will go home with your child next week. To learn more about this ministry click here.



  WINTERFEST

Join us on Sunday, January 21st from 12-3 pm as we kick off the beginning of Lutheran Schools Week. There will be games and activities for the kids, as well as an appearance by Silly Safaris. We will have chili, hot dogs, soup and more. You also have the opportunity to enter your chili in the chili cook-off. Prizes will be awarded. Please RSVP here so we can plan accordingly.

BOX TOPS


 

You can support St John by submitting your Box Tops, and this month is a great time to do it. Students will be coming home with a collection sheet for them to fill out and return back to their classes. Additional sheets can be found outside the office. The class with the most box tops will win a class party in February. Envelopes will be in each class to collect all box tops and sheets.

LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK

Beginning the week on Sunday, January 21st, we will be celebrating National Lutheran Schools week. We have a lot of fun activities planned. It will start on Sunday with all school choirs singing. Throughout the week we will have designated dress days. Monday is Campus Day, Tuesday: TV Character Day, Wednesday: Cambodia Day, Thursday: Camouflage Day, and Friday: Comradery Day. On Wednesday we will have a Yo-Yo assembly. The week will end with the Varsity Girls Basketball Tournament right here at St. John. Come out and support your Lady Eagles on Friday evening and Saturday.



COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE
