EAGLES BASKETBALL

Congratulations to Cole Snow on making the All-Star team at the Lutheran High School Invitational Tournament!

LOCKDOWN DRILL

Our first Lockdown Drill will take place today, November 20th at 2:10 pm. Teachers will begin this week discussing the procedures with their homeroom class and walk through the drill. At 2:10, we will do a full lockdown drill as a school. This is unfortunate to have to do, but a necessity in our society today. Students immediately know what to do during a fire drill because they practice it therefore, there is a need to practice a lockdown for students to know what to do. It is not something that anyone wants to do nor enjoy. Students will basically be hiding silently for a few minutes. No one will be able to enter the building and phone calls will not be answered during the drill. Please be patient. The drill should only take approximately 5 to 8 minutes.

You are invited to join us on Thanksgiving Day for church at 9:00 am in the Dwelling Place. Our school children will be singing at this service, too. Please consider joining us. We would love to worship with you.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS AND DELAYS

In the event that school must be closed or delayed, parents will find out about it in two ways:
1. St. John App (download yours today).
2. Local channel - WRTV
Please be careful in the parking lot on days with ice or snow. We have a plowing contract for the lot, but we rely on volunteers for the sidewalks and ice removal. We recommend you drop off at the west door on days when snow or ice appears to be a problem in the lot.
