Come support our Lady Eagles in their first home game tonight! Our mighty Eagles will battle the Calvary Knights. The JV games starts at 5 and the Varsity game will follow. Our boys will take the court for their first home game on Thursday beginning at 5 as well. They will battle for a victory against the Zion Warriors. The Box Tops and Coke Rewards contest will be running through February. Each month the class with the highest submissions will earn a Comfy Clothes day, where you can wear your sweatpants, hoodies or pajamas to school! Any questions contact Lindsey Chapman through Fast Direct.


All 6th-8th Graders are invited to Zion Lutheran School for the Lutheran School Fall Dance. The dance is on Friday, November 30th from 7-9 pm. Cost is $7. A flyer was sent home with your child.


We can’t wait to see you at Jack’s Donuts on Southport Rd. on Tuesday, December 4th. Mention St. John when ordering your donuts. The 20% discount is for the entire day! Don’t forget your amazing St. John staff when placing your donut order.

It has been brought to our attention that some of our school families are driving rather quickly through the neighborhood to the south of our school. Please be respectful of our neighbors and our community when driving to drop off or pick up your child.


Please join us on Wednesday’s @ 7 PM during Advent for worship services led by our students. Advent services will take place in the Dwelling Place at St. John Lutheran Church and School.

Please be careful in the parking lot on days with ice or snow. We have a plowing contract for the lot, but we rely on volunteers for the sidewalks and ice removal. We recommend you drop off at the west door on days when snow or ice appears to be a problem in the lot.

Our Scrip gift card program is a great way to purchase gift cards from several locations and help raise money for our school. Starting this week, the office will have new hours. The office will be open every school day from 8 am-3:30 pm. Vacation and summer hours will be from 8 am-11:30 am. Please keep this in mind when picking up your child from Extended Care. You will need to contact the Extended Care staff for entrance after 3:30.
