Who are we?
St. John Lutheran School, at 6630 Southeastern Avenue in southeast Indianapolis, is a PreSchool through 8th Grade school affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) and Lutheran High School of Indianapolis (LHSI).
Who are our students?
We currently serve 230 students in PreSchool (3-yr-olds)through Eighth Grade. Working with the students and their families are a faculty of 11 full-time teachers, two part-time teachers, and a staff that includes a learning center coordinator, teachers aides, pastors, and secretaries.
Our students come from many geographical areas, including Franklin Township, Warren Township, Perry Township, Beech Grove, Greenwood, and Indianapolis.
Do I have to belong to a church?
While many of our students come from families that have membership at St. John Lutheran Church, we also have students from a number of different Christian churches within our geographical region.
For famiilies seeking a church home, St. John Lutheran Church offers a welcoming atmosphere and a great community in which to raise children.
