What You Should Know

This year’s offerings will be designated to a variety of ministries. This quarter we will use offering money to purchase items for care packages for veterans. Please help us teach our students the principles of good stewardship and the joy of giving by talking with them about their offering for each Wednesday morning Chapel. Don’t forget, parents are welcome every Wednesday morning to join us.

Our Soccer team had their first games this past Saturday at Zion. They played well in the Zion Jamboree but had to end early due to rain. Great job Eagles!

Adults are $3, other students (1st-12th) $2 with a Family Max of $7. If you volunteer to work the games or concessions, you get in free. Come cheer your Eagles on!

It’s that time of year!! Be on the lookout for packets coming home with your child early next week! The PTL is fundraising with Fun Pasta Fundraising! What is fun pasta?? Fun Pasta is pasta shaped like the holidays, sports, collegiate team logos, and more. The brochure features a wide variety of shapes that will appeal to everyone!
If every student sells at least 6 bags of pasta or gets $40 in donations we would meet our goal. The pasta is just $6.50 - $8.00 a bag. There will be a prize for top seller(items), and highest classroom of items sold!!! So be on the lookout! All proceeds will go towards purchasing industrial fans for our gym.
Have fun, Eat pasta, and Raise Money!!!

Every Wednesday at Chapel our students sit with the Tribes. Tribes are consisted of a Tribe Leader and a mix of students from each grade. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet more brothers and sisters in Christ. In order to foster those relationships among the tribe mates, we are planning tribe activities. When we have tribe activity days, we will have a relaxed dress code for shirts, and encourage students to wear their tribe color. Keep in mind, their tribe and their tribe color will not change throughout the year. Our first tribe activity is scheduled for next Thursday, August 29th. If you would like your child to dress in their tribe color, we anted to give you time to plan.

Box Tops is changing their program! You will now be able to buy products and scan your receipt to earn money for our school and bring in the clipped paper ones till they expire. A box will either have the paper clipped ones or you scan the receipt. If you would rather not get the app you can bring your receipt to the office and have them put it in the PTL box and we will scan it in. We have a goal of raising $1000.00 the entire year! Each quarter we are looking to raise $250.00 and when that goal is reached the entire school will win a prize. Start scanning your receipts and turn your clipped box tops to your teachers!
