This class is meant for those who are high school age and older who would like to consider St. John Lutheran Church and School their home church and be able to receive Holy Communion here. Through study of Luther's Small Catechism, those who attend will learn that The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, to which St. John Lutheran belongs, holds to this and is what it expects of their pastors and teachers. A copy of Luther's Small Catechism will be provided to any who do not have one.
There is no requirement to join as a communicant member if you take the class. But to be a communicant member this class is necessary. It is also open to those who are already communing members but would like to "refresh" by bringing their catechism to do so.
